Transfers
At Advanced Arms, we are happy to assist in the transfer process of your firearm whether it’s from an online purchase or even person to person. Take a look at our current transfer policy for more information.
In order to complete your online transfer process, please follow these steps:
We Notify You
Once the firearm arrives, Advanced Arms must log the firearm into the Federal Acquisition and Disposition books, in accordance with Federal Law. Once that is complete, Advanced Arms will notify you that your transfer is ready to be picked up.
Background Check
Once the background check is completed, the purchaser will be responsible for a Transfer Fee of $49.
**NOTE** Online transfers can be sent to Advanced Arms if the firearm is used or something that is not present or cannot obtained. Transfer of a new firearm that can be obtained by Advanced Arms will NOT be accepted and returned to sender.
Person-to-Person Transfers
We will happily accommodate a person-to-person transfer. Both the buyer and seller must be present with current identification and the firearm being transferred must be present. Allow yourself approximately an hour for the background check to process. Please understand that these times can run longer, and we do not have control over the Background Check processing times. Once the Background Check is completed, there will be a $49 transfer fee associated with the transaction.
